I purchased this for a grandchild’s birthday. I didn’t think it was a very exciting gift but it has proven to be very popular. she is competitive and also a child who shares and this allowed her to play against someone and also to include others when she is playing.

Sports Resort is fun. But…

I bought this only for Sports Resort. Check the games that require it before purchase to see if it is worthy for you. Since I like Sports Resort (and Red Steel 2 seems fun?), I would say it’s worth the money(?). But like someone else has said in their review that it is inconvenient when you also have some games that requires you to hold your remote horizontally. You might need to take it off for games like New Super Mario Bros or other fighting games otherwise it’ll really hurt your hand. With the cover, it’s quite troublesome to take it off and put it back on.

The Motion Plus adds onto an existing Wii remote. With an add on accessory like this, the only good thing to say is that it works. As the descriptions and other reviewers have already said, this accessory works as intended.
There is one obvious drawback though. If you use Motion Plus for older games or games not formatted for Motion Plus then you’ll experience a problem. The Motion Plus can and will activate controls unintentionally which can be annoying, but can also cause you to die (in game). Here are a few examples: in Metroid Prime (Trilogy edition) Samus will transform into a ball by swinging the Wii remote and this can happen just by moving the remote to scroll across the screen. Its very annoying and caused me to lose some boss battles. In Dead Space: Extraction, it caused my weapons to switch by moving the remote across the screen.
So, in short, use Motion Plus on games that are intended for it like Red Steel 2.

I LOVE this product. The regular remotes were given as a gift and we wanted to make them motionplus. This was a great product to make that possible. The kids LOVE it!
Great precision movement

I got this with my Wii Play game. It makes movement so much more precise like your actually there doing it. The original Wii controller moved good but this makes it so much more refined. Think of it as having your computer screen at a 1280×1020 resolution and then upping it to a 1650×1080 resolution.
