Are the characters that appear as opponents in Wii tennis real people? ?

Having had a wii console for Xmas and just started to play tennis, the opponents seem to have different strengths and weaknesses. are they real people in cyberspace that come through my wifi connection?

Answer
No… “Wii Sports” doesn’t have any online capabilities.

The opponents you are talking about are just computer created. And YES… they do have different strengths and weaknesses. As you get better, so do they.

Although, once you get up to a certain level… they don’t get any harder. “Sarah” and “Elisa” will be your toughest computer opponents in Tennis. Once you get to them… you won’t see anyone tougher…
