worth it

After reading multiple reviews despite several being negative I still decided to buy this platform. I am pleased to say there was no need to add anything such as nickels or poker chips to balance my wii balance board on the riser as noted in many reviews. It works well to increase the step aerobics aspect of wii fit which is what I am using it for, the workout is noticeably more difficult. I have found no problems, and find it to be an asset. The price tag is very reasonable compared to other like products.
Takes it up a notch, literally.

My wife uses Wii Fit a great deal and this is who it was bought for. Her feedback has been very positive. It immediately made the workout so more effective and more like her aerobics classes. Easy to assemble, easy to use. Has been solid so far.
Great Way to Improve you Wii Fit Workouts

This step platform is great. I use it for a few different Wii Fit Plus workouts – mainly Advanced Step and Rhythm boxing, and it feels like I’m getting a more intense workout. I have not had any issues with it missing steps and the board fits snuggly onto the platform. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to add a little something extra to their workouts.

This little gadget does exactly what it’s intended to do. Easy to put together, sturdy enough and just fine for the price.
Not great quality

This isn’t the best quality. I don’t have the problems with my fit not sensing movements or giving bad readings tht some do but the overall construction feels flimsy. One of the screws they sent was badly mangled so I used one of my own but that just didn’t bode well for quality from day one.
It’s a workout but the weight is off

I think my title says it all. You can not put this on a carpet with the Wii feet on it and have an accurate weight. Other then that it’s seems pretty sturdy and well made. Just be aware of the weight issue.
step platform

A great improvement to the balance board. Very stable.
My only complaint is that if the carpet attachments are on the balance board, it won’t fit on the step up platform.
I have to take the carpet attachments off each time I want to use the platform.
But I don’t see how that could be fixed and still have the great stability the platform has.
great enhancement for a good workout

This attachment is a great enhancement to the traditional workout you get from the balance board alone. If you are looking to tone your leg muscles this is definately worth the purchase. The attachment can be used with any game requiring use of the balance board. I do suggest you use the step for a bit to get used to the height difference stepping up and down as tripping can be a hazard more than using the balance board alone.

If you have a regular screwdriver to start the screws in and a battery powered screwdriver to finish it off so that it’s tight on each of the 4 sides then it works great. The one downside are that the 4 puck stands fall off because the glue that is on them is not great. I plan on using super glue to get them in place permantently. I use it often with the Wii’s EA Active More Workouts game. It counts how many steps I do in the aerobic exercises. I rated it 4 out of 5 stars, taking one from the black pucks falling off.

This product fits the Wii balance board very well and makes the step exercises much better. The only issue I have with this product is that I generally use the Wii balance board on carpet with the extentions on the feet. You need to remove the press-on extentions from the balance board to use this accessory.
